Along with creating and editing "The Successful Scrapbook Teacher" website, Melissa is a freelance writer, designer and instructor with her own company, dreamgirl designs™. She is also the Class and Special Events Coordinator for Scrappy's in Dallas, Texas.
Her work is published in a variety of consumer and trade magazines and she continues to teach retail and consumer classes to hundreds of enthusiastic scrapbook students each year. Melissa was recently invited to be a "CKU Professor" and will be teaching at several Creating Keepsakes University events in 2003.
Though she takes great pleasure in traveling and teaching she admits her true love is spending time with her family in their home just north of Dallas.
Formerly a preschool teacher and cake-decorating instructor, Melissa began scrapbooking in 1995 and knew she had found her passion. She converted her teaching skills from kids & cakes to scrapbooking techniques and now her classes sell out at scrapbook stores and conventions across the country.
