Since then, Sonia has been teaching scrapbooking classes at local area stores, at SDVs (Scrappers Dream Vacations) and at Memories Expo. She tends to favor technique classes that will encourage peoples’ inner creativity – and loves when scrappers from her classes continue to use and modify the tools and techniques they pick up in her classes. She has been published in Creating Keepsakes (CKU NE Honor Roll Winner 2002), Memory Makers, and Ivy Cottage. She also designs pages for scrapbookretailers.com.
Sonia also works full time for Bayer HealthCare in Morristown, NJ as an associate manager in marketing research. She lives in Branchburg, NJ with her husband (Scott), daughter (Amanda – 6) and dog (Cassie). Where she finds time to scrapbook is a mystery to all who know her – including her!
Sonia will celebrate her three-year scrapbooking anniversary in May 2003 – and it all started with a Creative Memories party. She knew at this party, that this was the creative outlet she had been searching for. About four months later she saw printed paper, vellum and mulberry paper and her new hobby became a serious obsession.
