  • Instructions
    1) Lay the jacket on your work surface with the front face up. Peel off the protective backing from the You Go Girl Applique. Apply Gem-Tac™ to the back of it and lay it down on the jacket above one of the pockets. Remove the protective cover on the front of the appliqué. Press it down smoothly onto the surface. Repeat for the Girl Power appliqué over the other pocket. Gem-Tac™ will be the glue used to adhere everything to your jacket
    2) Apply a line of Gem-Tac™ around the edge of the pocket flap, following the shape and around the bottom outline of the pocket. Sprinkle the crystal bead mix onto the glue. Repeat for the other pocket. When dry, shake the jacket over a sheet of paper or plate to catch any beads that did not stick in the glue to save for later.
    3) Glue cabochons over the buttons or snaps of the jacket.
    4) Glue satin flower appliqués at the point of each pocket and around the collar. Glue a rhinestone in the center of each flower.
    5) Glue rhinestones around the collar between the flowers. Glue rhinestones scattered around the cuffs.
    6) Allow all glued embellishments to dry. Add flower nail heads between each button or snap and in the center of the pocket. Press the prongs through to the back and use the craft stick to press the prongs down onto the fabric to hold the flower in place.
    7) Flip the jacket over to embellish the back. Glue a Girl Power or You Go Girl appliqué to the center of the back yoke. Add a line of crystal beads along the edge line of the yoke. Add a few flower nail heads throughout the yoke area.
