  • Instructions
    1) Gather all of the embellishments you will be using for your pin. You will begin with the base or background of your pin.
    2) Mesh and bead base: Lay a piece of Magic mesh over the front surface of the Pezzo. Use the scissors to trim the excess around the edges and the hole. To make an area beaded, cut a piece of Peel n Stick™ the size and shape of the area you want beaded. The outer edges can be trimmed to the pin shape after it is applied. Peel off one side of the backing and stick it to the pin as desired. Trim the outer edges to the pin shape. Peel off the second backing sheet exposing the adhesive. Sprinkle the bead assortment over the sticky area. Shake off the excess beads. It helps to do this over a sheet of paper so you can easily put the excess beads back into the package.
    3) Colored base: use paint markers to add colored lines or shaped areas onto the Pezzo surface. Then you can add Gem-Tac™ to the surface to add beads and other embellishments. The Gem-Tac™ will dry clear, so the color will show through.
    4) Wire: wire can be added by making swirls, coils or other shapes and gluing them in position or cut the wire into pieces approximately 12” long, wind the through the hole a few times to secure them. Then the pieces can be bent, coiled and wound around the Pezzo for different effects. Beads and charms can also be threaded onto the thinner gauge wire pieces and bent into shapes.
    5) Embellishments: Use the Gem-Tac™ to adhere the beads, rhinestones and nailheads, etc. in position on the pin. The prongs on the nailheads can either be bent flat to the back of the nailhead or they can be cut of with the wirecutters so they it will be glued flat on the surface. Continue adding embellishments until you are pleased with the collage look of your pin. Allow to dry.
    6) Add fibers through the hole if desired. Glue a pinback to the back of the Pezzo pin. Allow to dry and enjoy your pin.
