    Instructions
    Usually, when creating Jewelcraft’s project of the month, I like to stick with a seasonal theme. But when I saw Renee Lindgren’s brightly colored caviar bead appliques, I knew they were just the thing to brighten up those long winter blues. Like the Jewelcraft line of caviar bead appliques, Renee’s beautiful designs come two to a package and are perfect for adding a quick sparkle to your scrapbook pages. In addition to being the perfect scrapbook embellishment, Renee Lindgren’s caviar bead appliques can be ironed on to clothing, hats, tennis shoes, jeans, coats, or just about anywhere that deserves a whimsical touch. So pull out those beach photos and appliques and treat yourself to a bit of summer fun...in the middle of February!

    Mount Fuschia Stain patterned paper onto blue cardstock. Mount Ice Blue Twine Plaid paper onto Fuschia Stain. Mount photo on Fuschia Stain and trim, leaving a thin mat around the photo. Then mount photo onto the Lime Dark Solid paper as shown. Place on blue cardstock and trim. Mount on layout as shown. Mount the Spiral Caviar Beads as shown. (Tip: I found that the appliques are so thin they can easily be run through a Xyron.) Place Beach Bum Caviar Bead over the top left corner of the photo. Using Glue Dots, adhere the strand of Green Metallic sequins to the photo left of the photo mat.

    Next, mount the Sand Castle, Fish, and Pails appliques to Ice Blue Funky Swirls paper as shown. Cut into blocks. Mat the Sand Castle block with Fuschia Stain paper. Mount the Fish block with blue cardstock. Finally, mount the Pails block with the Lime Dark Solid paper. Journal under the photo mat with a navy Zig Writer.
