Wired Woman Card

Materials:
• JewelCraft:
o Eyelets w/ Washers - Silver
o 26 Gauge Wire - Red
o 1/8” Anywhere Hole Punch
o Eyelet Setter & Disk
• MagicMesh – Black
• Self-Healing Mat
• Cardstock:
o White
o Black
o Red Glossy
• Ancient Page Dye Inkpad: Coal
• Lady Rubber Stamp from Viva Las Vegastamps
• Le Plume II Markers:
o Pale Pink
o Red
o Silver Gray
o Brown
• Double-sided foam tape
• Scissors:
o Regular
o Deckle Edge
• Hammer
• Wire Cutters
• Double-Stick Tape


Instructions
1. Cut a piece of Red glossy cardstock 5½ x 8½” and fold to make a card that is 5½ x 4Ό”.
2. Lay piece of MagicMesh (approx. 6”) diagonally across the front of the card and trim edges evenly with the card.
3. Cut a piece of black cardstock 2Ό x 4Ό” and use double-stick tape to adhere at an angle over the MagicMesh.
4. Determine placement of eyelets on top and bottom of card, approximately 1/8” from Black cardstock and ½” between each eyelet.
5. Punch holes with the anywhere hole punch and insert eyelets according to manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Stamp image on white cardstock using Coal ink. Cut stamped cardstock to 2x4” using deckle edge scissors.
7. Use red markers to add some color around the deckle edge.
8. Once the stamped image is dry, color with markers.
9. Wrap the deckle image with 26 gauge Red wire, going around and around until you have the desired effect.
10. Use double-sided foam tape to hold the wire on the back, as well as to give extra dimension to the piece.
11. Adhere the wired piece to the Black cardstock with the foam tape.
